In order to issue a business appraisal review opinion, orally or in writing, a business appraisal review is conducted in conformance with the applicable Business Appraisal Standards promulgated by the Institute of Business Appraisers.
A Business Appraisal Review is intended to provide a level of assurance to the stakeholders in the appraisal process, regarding the credibility of the work performed by another business appraiser.
It is not intended to provide a second opinion of value or a recalculation of an opinion of value.
